3/15/10: Expect Water-Year Decision Thursday in Klamath Basin-OR Congressman Greg Walden: "Last week I met with top officials in Washington, D.C. from the Bureau of Reclamation to discuss the dire water situation in the Klamath Basin. I expect a decision Thursday on when the Bureau will turn on the water and how much they will make available to project farmers. The Governor has already indicated he will declare a disaster for the area. I’m in close contact with the Klamath County commissioners and farm leaders in the Basin."
