Resolution No. 2008-1 of the Tulelake Irrigation District Board of Directors support for the Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement

February 11, 2008

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Tulelake Irrigation District has engaged in considerable discussions and multiple public meetings, and

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has made a thorough evaluation of potential alternatives,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The Tulelake Irrigation District Board of Directors agrees to support, defend and promote the Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement (Agreement) dated January 15, 2008, Version 11, subject only to appropriate and minor clarifying and conforming revisions.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT:

The Tulelake Irrigation District Board of Directors specifically will oppose any initiative or referendum to re-open negotiation or re-consideration of the Agreement terms that are not provided for, and/or accommodated by the Agreement.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Tulelake Irrigation District Board of Directors this 11th day of February 2008.
