Adolph Drazil, Malin, Oregon
    

Adolph Drazil was born Feb. 23, 1929, to Agnes and Vaclav Drazil, and went home to Heaven Nov. 28, 2014.

   He was the youngest of nine children, born and raised on the family’s homestead in Malin. In the mid-1940s, he joined the Navy. Following his discharge, he farmed with his brothers in Madras, Ore., where he met Marie Rowe and married her in 1951. They made their home on the family farm and raised four wonderful children: sons, Richard Drazil and Terry Drazil and daughters, Denise   Paulsen and Anezka Drazil, and their spouses. He also had a special bond with Richard Rajnus. He also loved very much his 15 grandchildren, Deona, Jason, Jack, Kiera, Dane, Josh, Sonny, Athena, David R., Jesse, Arianna, Ashlynn, Jonathan, Agnes and Lily; ˙ve greatgrandchildren; and one living sister, Sally Schultz.

   He was preceded in death by one son, David Drazil.

   Adolph enjoyed bowling, ˙shing, ying, farming and storytelling on the porch with many family and friends.  

   There will be a gathering of family and friends at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at the Malin Cemetery. A potluck will be at Denise Paulsen’s house on DeMerritt Road after the gathering. O’Hair Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
